WHAT’S NEW

30/09/2007
My blog, which is still located here, can now be accessed via http://www.thesocialprogrammer.com If you have arrived here via a link for another web-site, I do recommend subscribing to my blog’s RSS feed - I post there regularly.

During the latter half of 2007, I have been rather busy podcasting. To date, I have recorded close to 30 podcasts, you can find them all here. In particular, you can find a series of podcasts from the German Community Conference: NRW07, from the UK’s first MIX07 event and a number of podcasts about the UK Community event DDD.

If you’ve arrived here as a result of a link or a search, you’ll find the original site is here. I’ve not removed any content, nor have I moved anything, so deep links should be fine.

WRITING SCHEDULE

  • September 2007 - I am currently reviewing Hamrick’s VueScan software. It provides native drivers for many scanners and promises to improve the quality of scans.
  • October 2007 - I am currently reviewing Kellarman Software’s NUnit Test Generator. The NUnit Test Generator works with NUnit to make your life easier. It not only creates the stubs for the tests, it extracts the the documentation you’ve already written for your properties and methods! The NUnit Test Generator creates NUnit tests using your VB.NET or C# source code. The NUnit Test Generator is template based so it is easy to modify the output. It also has advanced features such as expanding abbreviations and intelligent return value type creation.
